Brothers Seafood is nestled in the back roads of Seekonk in a shopping plaza with 15 other well established small businesses. Though the restaurant itself is on the smaller side they make excellent use of the space they have with both bar and table seating options. They also offer dine in, take out, and even Uber Eats. They have a very large menu, with affordable prices, and generous meal portions. The staff taking phone orders were incredibly pleasant and prompt with meal pickup. As odd as this may sound, it's very challenging to find seafood restaurants in certain areas of the state. I'm super glad Brothers Seafood is thriving and I would absolutely recommend them to others.
Always a good meal, and great, friendly service! Huge portions and cooked to perfection. If I'm in the area, it's a must!
This place is awesome! We're from California in search of a lobster roll. Well we found a good one. As recommended by our server Ellen. The slaw was outstanding too. I highly advise everyone to stop by this place. I can't wait to come back!
Brothers continues to exceed expectations a year later! We stopped by on Friday June 14th 2024 and had very pleasant team service from the waitresses. The crab cakes with remoulade sauce and fish and chips were excellent! The food is super fresh and the fried batter, light. A couple of Stella Artois' and we were all set. Solidly recommended.
OMG! This is the BEST hidden gem ever!! Driving up to the barren plain strip mall, we thought we were at the wrong place. Step in, and you're in another world. This is the BEST find on our New England road trip. Perfect homey coastal ambiance, excellent delicious home cooking, and super friendly service by Ellen made us feel welcome like we were old friends. Can't recommend this enough. This is how a perfect excellent neighborhood restaurant should be. Thank You!
This place has the best lobster roll in all of Rhode Island!! Consistently good. I've been here over 10 times and their rolls don't have a match in RI. I truly enjoy a good lobster roll. During the summers I do a lobster roll tour of Maine, I've been to McLoons, Red's and all the other " best lobster roll in Maine" places (there's a reason I only mentioned those two, they are my favorite). When I moved to RI I was so excited and looked up all the best places for lobster roll. I visited all of the top places in every list. None of them are as good as this place. I do ask for my roll without lettuce, so if you want to give it a try, I'd go without lettuce. It is the best you can get in RI
I hesitate to even write this review. Not because of anything negative but rather my selfish desire to gate-keep this hidden gem. My first visit to this establishment actually had me mourning the fact that this place had existed right under my nose for the entire eight months that I had been living here without my knowledge. To be fair, I knew it was there, I simply didn't know what I was missing. To begin...Ok, I am honestly getting emotional just thinking about their lobster bisque. Now, while I do not consider myself a food expert, I will say that I do dine out fairly often and this is one menu item I can rarely turn down. However, after trying this lobster bisque, all others are now and forevermore ruined. It is delicious, yes, but what makes theirs stand above the rest is not only the quality but also the QUANTITY. A cup is a perfect starter to a meal while the bowl could be an entire meal itself! They put so much lobster meat in their bisque that it blows me away every time. It is thick, flavorful, enough meat for every bite and not a bit oily like the places that don't understand what heartburn feels like. 10/10 No surprise, now I will tear up while recounting the perfection of their lobster rolls. I swear they cook every lobster fresh per order. The bun comes out so hot and perfectly toasted while the meat is just lightly coated in mayo-no crunchy celery, thank god!-, piled high, and spilling out with every mouth-watering bite. To their credit as well, they don't just cop out and throw a bunch of claws and leg meat in there with maybe a WISP of tail, they put the whole lobster in and if anything, it's heavy on the tail meat. Aka perfect. I want to apologize for using that adjective three times already but I won't. It is what it is. I never enjoy lettuce in my sandwiches (yes, I'm weird, I know; irrelevant) but they only put one thin slice in just to keep a barrier between the mayo and toasty bread and I find myself scarfing it down no problem. Their eggplant parmigiana is also enormous and the best one my avid chef/foodie son says he's ever had (the sauce second only to his Italian grandmother's). My other children ordered chicken fingers which were thankfully not the rubbery, fake meat ones but real, big pieces and freshly cooked. The sweet potato fries are delicious. If you're looking for a cozy, friendly and almost "old school" type of vibe with unforgettable food at affordable prices, this place is definitely worth trying.
Nine seats at the bar, a couple dozen at tables. Clean, efficient. It is located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking. Service is cheerful and fast. The menu is seafood in various combinations; baked and fried. Nothing complicated, all cooked baked / fried to perfection. Beer, coffee, fish & chips, Cole slaw, baked stuffed haddock, for 2 people. $33 ! Tie and jacket not required.
The white chowder is delicious. Served piping hot. I had the 2 piece combination plate. It came with 2 big fillets of fish, a mound of clam strips, slaw, and fresh cut fries ($17). My hubby had the steamed little neck clam in a garlic and oil sauce (comes with bread), and a cup of white chowder. Everything was fresh and extremely delicious! We highly recommend this establishment.
Went looking for clam cakes and chowder and found a great place. Guy Fieri needs to come here! Cute little place, friendly and clean. Delicious soups and clam cakes in Portuguese style.
